Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street Featuring Leonardo DiCaprio
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio will play stockbroker Jordan Belfort in director Martin Scorsese‘s new film The Wolf of Wall Street. The movie trailer was released on June 16, 2013. The film will cover Belfort’s founding of brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont and the subsequent securities fraud and corruption investigation against it. Given the level of opulence and New York City setting, this seems like an interesting role choice for DiCaprio coming off of The Great Gatsby.
