Imagine being graded on how well you can dish out headshots, capture the flag, or getting homework on forcing your APM up. There’s a silent wish of every gamer growing up that they could go to school to play video games, a new webseries named Video Game High School written by Matthew Arnold, Will Campos and Brian Firenzi fulfills that wish.
“Video Game High School (VGHS) is set in the near future where video gaming elevates its best players to stardom by its position as the world’s most popular competitive sport. VGHS is an elite and prestigious facility which teaches a curriculum of video games of all genres.”
The series is directed by Matthew Arnold, Brandon Laatsch and Freddie Wong, whom you may recognize from the famous effects and video game related freddiew channel on youtube. VGHS is just entering season 2 and I’m really enjoying it so far.
You can watch the rest of Season 1 here.
The series is fun, action packed, and features kids going to school for video games. Hell yes. I’m still waiting for my acceptance letter.
I’ve dreamed of playing on a VGHS team since I was ‘E For Everyone’
