Y.A.L.A. by M.I.A. is the song in the 2014 Nissan Rogue San Francisco Commercial

Are you asking yourself what is the song on the Nissan Rogue Commercial that takes place in San Francisco? We’ve got the answer for you.

The track “Y.A.L.A” was produced by Ruben Fernhout and Jerry Leembruggen aka The Partysquad and appears on the new M.I.A. album Matangi available on iTunes and Spotify. The song is reminiscent of the brazilian music that inspired many of the sounds on M.I.A.’s previous album Arular. If you’re trying to sing along you’ll need the lyrics to Y.A.L.A.

YOLO meets reincarnation with Y.A.L.A. which stands for “you always live again”.  The official music video for the song was directed by Daniel Sannwald and is a hyper electic spasm of sight and sound.
