Japanese “Killing Stone” Breaks Open

Hokusai tells of a fox spirit, Tamamo-no-mae, which wreaked havok every 500 years or so. The spirit finally embedded itself into a stone in Japan called Sessho-seki. It is said that 650 years ago the Buddhist monk Genno Shinsho attempted to exorcise the demon from the stone and the spirit relented and agreed to rest in peace.

This past Saturday, March 5, 2022 the “Killing Stone” located in the Tochigi Prefecture of Japan spontaneously split open.

So yeah…we got that going for us.
