Directors Spielberg and Lucas Predict ‘Massive Implosion’ in Film Industry
Yesterday on June 13, 2013, The Verge’s Brian Bishop published a story with the provocative headline “Steven Spielberg and George Lucas predict ‘massive implosion’ in film industry”. The article covers a panel discussion held at the University of Southern California by directors George Lucas and Steven Speilberg and Microsoft’s President of Interactive Entertainment Don Mattrick. As envisioned by Marshall Space Flight Center engineers, a five-ship convoy would make the round trip journey in about five hundred days.”
