Peter Jackson released a teaser poster for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The second part of the prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy is set to premier December 13, 2013. A teaser trailer will debut June 11. Here’s a high resolution version of the poster.

Two Satellites Collided Over Siberia in 2009
Debris from the collision between Iridium 33 (green) and Cosmos 2251 (red) spread very quickly. These images show that within a few hours of the collision, the evolution of a debris cloud was already apparent along the orbital planes of both satellites.
