Rand McNally, best known for their maps, atlases and globes, published “The Histomap: Four Thousand Years of World History” in 1931. It was created by John B. Sparks, and it originally sold for $1. The map measured 5’2″ tall. It was intended to “[dramatize] the great adventure of mankind.” It is the story of civilization. The colored regions represented the various empires throughout the last 4000 years.

Look at the photo above, examine it. The photo above is a single image. Without the use of Photoshop or any post processing technique, New York based photographer Bela Borsodi created this image for the cover of the VLP-Terrain album. Bordsodi’s pieces are clever and full of visual puns. In that same vein, the VLP – Terrain cover is one single image, not four. Mild brain hemorrhaging may occur when trying to decipher how it was done.

We recently found an imgur gallery shared by user magomike breaking down the steps necessary to moonwalk. Most people who think they know how to moonwalk do it completely wrong.

Check this picture out, it’s a stunning shot of the today’s Expedition 36 Soyuz landing. You can see the retro rockets firing before impact.

No Azo, that’s from the Snowpocalypse DC got a couple of years ago. I don’t think my area has gotten even an inch in winter snow this year.
