Welcome to the Anthropocene – A Video About How We Affect Our World

We are the “new telluric force which in power and universality may be compared to the greater forces of earth”. For the first time in human history we have the ability to track the affects we have on our global environment. The video describes a new responsibility toward this planet that must emerge for us to live on Earth in a sustainable way. This piece, commissioned by the Planet Under Pressure conference, does a remarkable job explaining the accelerating forces under our control.

    How can we be altering the natural cycle of the this beautiful earth if we ourselves are a natural part of it as well? Thus making anything we do a natural event the only way this could be possible Or to think otherwise is to suggest we are not of this world , An alien to if you will.

    That being said makes me wonder. Do you, the makers of this video “seemingly highly intelligent beings I might add” know something about us as humans that we do not .? Did you just unknowingly express that we are not of this world ..Did you just…. let the “proverbial ” cat out of the bag so to speak ? No you’re way to smart to do that
