Ladies and gentlemen, it’s not often that ingenuity and comedy so perfectly produce a hilarious offspring such as this trailer. It’s a beautifully sweded take on the Iron Man 3 trailer.
I’m impressed at how close they matched the Marvel original:

Inspired by the face research project and the theory that attractive faces are really perfectly average, we wondered what the average of all the Doctors would look like– if in some strange fan fiction, all their DNA were combined to produce the Doctor.

In this interview with Emma-Jane Quinlan we discussed working with David Guetta and dancing at the Moulin Rouge. Emma talked to us about her transition from modeling into event management, describing outgrowing her opportunities in Paris and creating new professional relationships by being a go-getter unafraid of playing with snakes and crocodiles. Listen to the podcast to get the goods.

I saw an image today that states that the character of Peter Pan was an angel that held kids’ hands on their way to heaven. I was curious so I looked up if there is any truth to the statement. The closest I got was that James Matthew Barrie (J. M. Barrie), the author of Peter and Wendy, lost his brother David two days before the young man’s 14th birthday. David Barrie died in an ice-skating accident which both deeply affected James Matthew and his mother, J.M later wrote that his mother took solace in the idea that David would never grow old and leave home.

Felix Baumgartner is slated to do a 120,000 foot skydive from the edge of space on Sunday, through the Red Bull Stratos Program. An attempt on Tuesday was cancelled due to weather. It’s an inspiring feat– defying gravity to get to the edge of space and shirking common sense by jumping out of a perfectly good… balloon.
While Baumgartner is at it, he will be breaking the sound barrier, going mach speed– like Chuck Yeager without the X-1. Incidentally, Yeager broke the sound barrier October 14, 1947. Baumgartner may potentially be doing it again sans aircraft October 14, 2012. As Matt Scott puts it: “To infinity and beyond… and back again…”
Tomorrow morning, the Red Bull Stratos program will attempt to bring Felix Baumgartner back from the edge of space with a record shattering 120,000 foot skydive. The video above from Red Bull is a great glimpse into the few hours before the jump, gathering sentiments from Felix’s family and friends. Stratos mission support staff appear to be eagerly awaiting a greenlight in Roswell, New Mexico for tomorrow morning…
