Superman Wears a GoPro Camera and We Get to Fly Along!

Remember the great music video filmed in first-person view? Here’s a similar short film from Superman’s point of view created by CorridorDigital.

The video plays on the idea that Superman might wear a GoPro camera while fighting crime, however, the video appears to have been created with a DJI Phantom drone and clever editing. The short is a great example of what storytelling and cutting edge technology can produce when seamlessly combined. Corridor Digital posted a great behind-the-scenes:

We are on the edge of a wave of immersive first-person content. What other stories would work in this format? What if the viewer could look around? I imagine the next version of this short, shot with immersive video, might be something we would see on the Oculus Rift.

Crime narratives, fantasy, and adult-themed stories all can benefit from this format. What would you want to see? Whose life would you want to follow?
