On November 4th, 2014, Babymetal played at the Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom in New York and from all accounts it was amazing.
Since their initial video for “Gimme Chocolate!!” went viral back in March of 2014, it’s now at over 17 million views, Babymetal has toured Europe playing at sold out venues in Germany, France, and the UK. They attended the Sonisphere festival in Knebworth, England and made landfall in North America playing at the La Fonda theatre in Los Angeles in July and Heavy Montréal in Canada on August 9th. If that wasn’t enough, Babymetal hooked up with Lady Gaga through the American Southwest on her artRAVE: The Artpop Ball tour. After their concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York Babymetal returns to the UK to play at O2 Academy Brixton, in London on November 8th.
While only the “Fox God” may know of their plans for future albums and songs, their official site has announced yet another concert in their home of Japan at Saitama Super Arena on January 10th, 2015.
