We all love to play.

I came across a monastery in Burma a few years ago and had an opportunity to play soccer with some of the monks. Outside of Stephen Chow’s Shaolin Soccer, I had expected monks to live a very austere and ascetic life. These were children. Video games to sports to the private meta games we invent in our own minds, and whether you’re rich, poor, young, old: we all love to play.
