The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier was an exhibit recently showcased at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, CA from March 24, 2012 – August 19, 2012. I’ve taken these photos to try and summarize the exhbit which featured innovative projection and lighting technology. Jean Paul Gaultier’s seductive stylings and successes as a haute couture fashion designer were beautifully displayed and narrated throughout the exhibit. 140 haute couture and prêt-à-porter designs were presented as an engaging retrospective of Gaultier’s work and highlighted the controversial, whimsical, and innovate designs that have made Jean Paul Gaultier world famous.
