Power Goes Out at Mercedes-Benz Superdome During Super Bowl XLVII

Super Bowl XLVII was disrupted when half of the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana was thrust into darkness. The power outage occurred only minutes after the half-time show reunion of Destiny’s Child.

A few online comments that immediately popped up involved Batman’s Bane, unpaid utility bills, and the reunion show being just too big for one sporting event. We attempted to upload a video of the incident but received a copyright takedown from the NFL. For an idea of what occurred just check out this blackout video.
