Mechwarrior Online Open Beta

I’ve posted a little bit about Mechwarrior Online. Playing in the beta for a while now has given me some great access to some fantastic content. On Monday October 29th, PGI opened up Mechwarrior Online to the general public. That’s right, now you too can play and try out the game for yourself.

The game is still in beta, however, so keep in mind that it isn’t finished. This is your chance to test it, find bugs, and leave feedback as the developers continue to improve and add features. Many components aren’t in yet (at time of writing) such as matchmaking, community warfare, customized skins, and much more. That doesn’t stop the game from being immensely fun though.

I put together clips from some recent matches to showcase a bit of gameplay and also, because I just really wanted to. If do you decide to try the game out, don’t forget to watch the tutorial as there’s a lot going on, especially for those who’ve never played a Mechwarrior game before.

See you on the battlefield.
